'Home' deserves Oceanfront project

EDITOR, I am writing at this time in regards to my support of the Squamish Oceanfront development.

EDITOR,

I am writing at this time in regards to my support of the Squamish Oceanfront development.

I am a two-time Olympic skier and a coach of freestyle skiing with the hopes and dreams of becoming a potential business owner here in Squamish in the near future.

Growing up in the beautiful city of Vancouver, training and working on the magnificent mountains in Whistler and travelling to some of the most extraordinary places in the world, I am ecstatic to say that I have finally found home.

Squamish the Outdoor Recreation Capital of Canada, our home - to where we moved our young family to three years ago in hopes of a better lifestyle; a paradise that is a great fit for us with the combinations of a fabulous community; a place where we can play, work and raise our family with confidence.

Our home, which needs this Oceanfront plan that will only benefit Squamish with all the community comforts it will bring us, housing opportunities, and more business opportunities for many people like me.

Friends, family, tourists, adventurists come to "our home" from all around the world to play and enjoy all that Squamish has to offer. Isn't it time that we give them, along with ourselves, a spectacular developed Oceanfront to enjoy as well?

My family and I are excited for this project to begin and look forward to seeing this plan come to life in the near future.
