At 11 a.m. Monday Nov. 9, the H1N1 vaccination clinic at the Squamish Brennan Park site was nearly empty. I counted three people in for vaccination, and staff with time to chat to passersby.

I checked the clinic because of the news story on the CBC giving similar low usage at clinics in other parts of Canada.

The helpful staff at the Brennan Park Clinic told me that this was their first "slow" morning and that, should it continue, they were sure a reassessment of the vaccination only to priority list would take place.

Let me encourage you to reassess this asap. Should the turnout continue low with the current priority list, please begin allowing the general population in asap.

I am a pensioner and we have a six-year-old in the house. Neither of us qualifies to get a vaccination for weeks yet.

I am sure the supply of vaccine will be running low as soon as the general public is let in, but it is better to begin at once rather than let clinics sit relatively idle for two more weeks.
