Twenty years ago one of the largest (if not the largest) classes of Howe Sound Secondary graduated. We are now holding a 20-year reunion on Aug. 12 to take place at the high school where we once roamed the hallways.
Before we can do this successfully, we are needing to get in touch with our alumni who we have not yet been able to reach via social media, or through friends and family that we may know.
I write this letter today requesting that The Squamish Chief help the 1997 graduating class in getting the word out. We would like to reach out to those who read your newspaper, and to get in touch with anyone they know who graduated back in 1997 at Howe Sound Secondary School to check out the event page by searching “Class of ‘97: Reunion 2017” on www.tilt.com or contact me by email at [email protected].
This is an inclusionary event and open to anyone who graduated or would have graduated in 1997 at HSSS.
We would also like to extend an invite to all the teachers we encountered as well as staff, coaches, etc. to join our reunion.
