This weekend I had a blast. For the first time in over 50 years I participated in two voices classes in the Howe Sound Music Festival.
Now age 69 the adrenaline rush and the learning redeemed my scared silly 16 year-old self.
I watched with awe the poise of the teens and kids who performed, wishing I had a fraction of their performance skill when I was on council so many years ago.
The art and skill of presentation are lifelong assets whether one is in music, business, politics, sports or any other activity.
Bravo to all participants, parents, organizers, volunteers, sponsors and the adjudicators (who were fabulous).
The Howe Sound Music Festival has a grand tradition and a bright future!
