Regarding Helmut Manzl’s non-evaluation of our council (Squamish Insider column, June 2):
I see this group doing almost nothing but spend and tax. The vast majority of the residents here are not going to any love fest.
The only interaction people are having with the muni is the annual tax bill, and that is not positive. The taxes will go up between 30 per cent and 40 per cent on this council’s watch.
The special interest groups are profiting, with the residents paying the tab.
I give this council a failing grade.
