My name is Joey Buchanan, I am eight years old and live in Squamish. I fish the Squamish River a lot with my dad. Each time we go fishing on the walk to and from the river, I find a ton of garbage.
I wish that people would pack out what they pack in. I find items like plastic water bottles, cigarette butts, old fishing line, coffee cups and wrappers. These items pollute our environment.
Why can’t people respect our rivers?
