This is a brief letter to the heartless thief or thieves who found the need to steal our two new colour laser beam Christmas decorations outside our house in Garibaldi Highlands on Saturday.
Anybody with such a dark heart at this time of the year might not have the skill to read, but hopefully one of their friends will read this and can persuade the thieves to return these items.
We have lived in the same house in the Highlands for 20 years and never had any thefts, and with the greatest neighbours, we always keep an eye on each other’s places.
All the kids in the neighbourhood and elsewhere enjoy stopping outside our house before and after school to enjoy the dozen or so inflatable Santas and snowmen etc., and the new lightshow on the house added some excitement for the little kids this time of the year.
No miserable, bottom-scraping thief will ruin Christmas for anybody. I will make sure something else takes the space of this light show, but this serves as a warning that there are some heartless thieves out there, so keep an eye on your house this Christmas.
