I was pleased to see the school board funding resolved with the help of the bureaucrats accepting to fulfill their duties without a raise. If you carry this operating of the school board to a natural conclusion we would have only bureaucrats and no teachers or students – madness.
A comment on Helmut’s comment that an OCP is mandated by the government: while having an OCP is mandated, we met that condition with the OCP before this one and before the one before that, saving the community $370,000. I guess I forgot, the industrial park and the Garibaldi Highlands moved. Do I hear the sound of a hammer breaking a piggybank? I wonder how many of our councillors read the previous one.
