My dog was recently hit and killed on Judd Road. The lesson I hope I can pass along to motorists is to please just slow down. There is so much at stake on residential streets, and in a split second, your actions or inattention can affect someone for a lifetime. Don’t speed, watch driveways and cross streets, assume a child is going to jump out in front of you, and always expect the unexpected. No one should ever have to watch their best friend die on the street.
