I read the front page article regarding “Developing Squamish” with great interest as I can remember far enough back when the west side of Highway 99 between Industrial Way and the Mamquam River was just another patch of trees.
When I reached the end, without forming an opinion yea or nay, I was extremely puzzled and it took a quick check of Google map to answer my question. I went back to the article and found no reference that Walmart was developing their parking lot, which is the site referenced in the second paragraph of the article as “the southeast corner of Commercial and Discovery ways.”
Maybe future articles of this import should be closer proofread.
