I think Squamish needs a high quality electronic parts store. Squamish would benefit from the electronic store because people wouldn’t have to drive all the way down to Vancouver to find quality parts or pay extra money for shipping. Whenever I need new parts in my computer, my dad and I would have to drive all the way down to Vancouver to find quality parts. I feel that if Squamish had that type of store, a lot of people would find the store convenient.
The economy would also benefit if we had an electronic store because of the price of parts, which can be sold from $10 all the way to $22,000, according to Dell. There may be an argument that not many people would buy from that store because there aren’t many people who use computers in Squamish.
I believe this is false because in my school there are seven people, not including me, in just my class who use computers.
I prefer to upgrade each year and it usually costs about $100 to $300. If all eight people did that it would be $800 to $2,400 just from us. There are also more people in Squamish who use computers, like businesses. I also buy the cheapest parts I can buy so that would be a lot of money just from computers. The store could also sell other things like other electrical parts like light and security systems. In conclusion, we need that electronic store.
