The Copper Coil Still & Grill has a four-star rating on Trip Advisor. Locals and tourists alike are very happy that it exists and offers a menu different than other restaurants in town. I’m curious to know if your long-term real estate strategy will conclude that it is beneficial for the town to force a thriving local business to uproot itself from a venue it has invested considerable time, money and effort. I can’t fathom how it is not best to provide that business owner with certainty over their venue lease.
It doesn’t take a study to make a proper decision in this case. Don’t waste tax dollars on an issue like this. Support a local business and send a signal to other entrepreneurs that you’re supportive of their investments.
