The longest night of the year is fast approaching. It’s time to reflect on 2016 and who’s been naughty and who’s been nice.
A tip of the helmet to the many cyclists, particularly those who ride year round. And kudos to those who have good lights for riding at night; Motorists, cyclists, pedestrians and loved ones salute you.
A joyous shout-out to trail users who have bike-bells or call out before passing. And grateful thanks to everyone for keeping ears and hearts wide open for others, be they on bicycles, in cars or train crews.
Special thanks to bike shops and retail outlets for stocking items to keep pedestrians and cyclists visible and heard. Bells, lights and reflective clothing or accessories make a lovely winter holiday gift for your nearest and dearest.
Wishing everyone a safe and happy holiday season!
