Many thanks to the Squamish Chief news staff for publicizing our unique Squamish Eagle Watch Volunteer Interpreter Program and its various activities during this wintering bald eagle season.

We sincerely appreciate your attention to the importance of our role in educating visitors and community members in ethical eagle-viewing practices and related environmental information with the ultimate goal of protecting the bald eagles and salmon that visit our rivers and streams each winter.

Again, thank you for raising the public’s awareness of our program and related activities through your accurate and riveting articles, photos and news clips.
