As a third generation resident of Squamish, I am disgusted with the way some of us are being persecuted for living in our vehicles.
I’ve lived and worked here all my life and now with physical disabilities, I am no longer able to work or to afford to rent a place. I managed to scrape together enough to buy a small RV and now I’m not allowed to park and sleep in it overnight. Long haul truckers can. I don’t know what’s happened to Squamish but it’s not the same town I grew up in.
