Letter: Consumers will dictate LNG's success or failure

I hope those against liquefied natural gas (LNG) do not own cars or anything else that uses carbon-based fuel. It would seem to be quite hypocritical to oppose something you use every day.

In my opinion, LNG is the correct way to go for the environment, worldwide. If we could eliminate bunker c (heavy fuel oil) for ships, diesel from cars and trucks and the insatiable need of gasoline, it would immediately change the carbon footprint and particulates for the climate mandate and likely would be the single most important change to reach compliance.

I do not see anyone who is opposing LNG coming up with an option, just negativity, as if this is the wise way to go.

If you haven’t gathered, I am in support of the LNG industry. They can figure out markets and pricing. It is their industry and their business. The consumers will dictate the success or failure, as it does with most things.
