Making our highway safer

There are no passing lanes on the Squamish highway. There are just places with two lanes. Keeping right except to pass is a stupid idea. Slower traffic keeping right is the only sensible thing - slower than the posted speed limit, that is. Compared to the Upper Levels where many in a hurry make it clear that if you are not exceeding the speed limit you should get out of their way because they don't seem able to ease off before they get fastened to my bumper. Our road is indeed better than it was back in 1960, as is the Upper Levels since it was made into a proper highway. No one has any problem driving at or near the speed limit and arriving at Second Narrows two or three minutes later than the ones who wish to arrive where they are going before they leave home.
