Elimination of free dump weekend is not the answer. The whole idea for years is to help people pitch in and clean up their yards, so we don't look like we live in a Third World country - that's what the bottom line here is - not just about recycling or re-use-it. Seems like were getting recycling crammed down our throats, but they take away the recycling stations from us at Brackendale, Mamquam and Valleycliffe. This community needs a shed built at the dump to drop off recycling and re-use-it items but as well as more free dump days, how about a free dump week? Whoever makes these decisions, I wonder have you been on the back roads around the dump or any other back road and seen the garbage? Quit reaching in our back pockets and give us free dump days and more of them; don't take them away. Take a second look and reconsider what your doing.
