I wanted to comment on the story regarding the cross memorial that had been removed at M Creek during highway construction. There was also a cross in the Cheakamus Canyon in remembrance of three sons killed there in 1994. This cross was also removed during construction and we were also given approval to return it upon completion of the highway construction by Peter Kiewit and Sons.
My heart goes out to all the famlies who have lost loved ones on the Sea to Sky Highway and I would love to see the memorials back where they belong.
