The Royal Canadian Legion Garibaldi Highlands branch donated $500 to support the DARE (Drug Resistance Education Program) which is taught to about 250 local Grade 5 students. This is a worthwhile program, and I understand they are in need of approximately $2,500 to cover the cost of this program this year.
