Re. "New pedestrian overpass coming soon," Chief, Dec. 30.
There are no traffic congestion issues at the totem hall HWY 99 intersection. Currently East-West traffic has to wait about one minute for the light and south-north traffic less than 15 seconds (if they have to wait at all). How does any of this warrant a $2.2 million walkway for a community numbering less than a few dozen homes?
