Did you buy your winter coat yet? Is your closet full of old coats you haven't worn for a few years? Well, I might have a great way to make room for your new coats! Every year the United Church Women's Group collects winter coats, sweaters, socks and outerwear to take to Helping Hands in Squamish and First United, a mission serving the downtown east side in Vancouver. It looks like this will be a cold winter, and there are those that aren't able to buy new winter wear, so if you have any old items that you would like to donate please call Cathie at (604) 815-3506 and she will pick them up before Dec. 6.
