Party disruptive

EDITOR,
In the early morning hours of April 25, I was woken by the boom-boom of a partying crowd of students across Mashiter Creek from my home. As much as I am pleased that Quest University landed here in Squamish, and not Whistler which was their first choice, I also realized it would change the area forever. That fact was in full force at 1 a.m. when the students decided to blast their rave party for all to hear. It’s great that Quest is finished with their term, but for those of us who have to work the next day, the 1.5 hours of sleep I lost was not welcomed. Please keep your partying inside or go further into the bush. We have lots of it here!
