Reporting questioned

Editor, Your reporting of the recent meeting on GAS shows disturbing bias ["Anti-GAS 'facts' questioned," The Chief, April 16]. This is a topic, which needs to be discussed openly.

Editor,

Your reporting of the recent meeting on GAS shows disturbing bias ["Anti-GAS 'facts' questioned," The Chief, April 16].

This is a topic, which needs to be discussed openly. In your headline stating that a "Councillor points out inaccuracies", when in fact the councillor said nothing to the meeting, is very misleading. Moreover, whatever "inaccuracies" he may be thinking of are not put forward in your article. Hence one is left with a heading about one person's private comments. Is this responsible and ethical reporting ?
