I agree with all the helpful hints to pedestrians and drivers.
I would like to add one basicpolicy that seems to have been forgotten over time. How about people walking facingoncoming traffic?
I have seen moms with strollers, children or adults all walking with their back to the traffic.
I hope this old-fashioned tip saves at least one person from harm.
