Say no to towers

I arrived in Squamish almost three years ago from Toronto. I have settled in Squamish and opened a business. My wife and I do not go a day without saying how lucky we are that we landed in Squamish.

It is beautiful, clean, quiet, with the most amazing views where ever one looks. Speaking with other new arrivals, whether it from Vancouver or Newfoundland, they say that we live in a paradise.

We live in between one of the greatest cities in the world, Vancouver and the best skiing in the world, Whistler. We have wonderful biking, hiking and watersports at our fingertips. Why in the world would we want highrises 17 storeys tall?

Our council is 100 per cent behind this project. Who exactly do they represent? As a citizen of this wonderful town, please, please, please, stop the towers.
