Squamish Youth Soccer will celebrate the opening day of its 2011-'12 season on Saturday, Sept. 10. However, not without some disruption - SYSA has made the decision to move all soccer games scheduled for that morning to the late afternoon to avoid the traffic chaos resulting from the GranFondo. We regret this inconvenience; however, our only other safe option was to cancel altogether. With 875 local kids ready to tie on their boots and the rainy days of October fast approaching, the games will go on! We ask for everyone's patience and understanding as we make the best of the situation we find ourselves in.Katrina Doherty
