The Squamish Chief polled 198 readers and asked the question: Squamish, what are you doing for New Year's Eve?

The poll ran from 12/23/2021 to 12/30/2021. Of the 198 votes, we can determine that 91 are from within the community. The full results are as follows:

Having friends over/going to friends. 4.40 % local, 5.56 % total    
Staying home and celebrating with family. 41.76 % local, 32.83 % total
