EDITOR,
To the people of Squamish, I would like to say to the volunteers at the Squamish Days festivities, thank you for putting on a great show with such little support from the new condo crowd that seems to have overrun the town. Your contributions to the community will be remembered. You folks are the heart and soul of the town and always will be. I would also like to say as a 30-year resident and a local family member since the early '50s that I did not appreciate the derisive comment from the people sitting outside of Howe Sound Men's and Boys' Wear. I could barely restrain myself from rapping you in the mouth; you and your cronies should just move if you cannot say anything nice about people. Again to the volunteers, thank you for all your hard work and I will see you all again next year.
