I was an Olympic volunteer at Whistler from the 8th to 19th of February. Fortunately for me I had a host family to stay with in Brackendale. They opened there home and there lives to me and truly enriched my Olympic experience. Busing was a challenge but I met many interesting, helpful & excited people. I believe Squamish and area have done and are doing a wonderful job in supporting the Olympic movement and I wish to honour my host family, the Purdies, you guys are the best!
