The Downtown Summer Series event, Jam at the Pavilion, sponsored by the District of Squamish will feature The Hairfarmers from Whistler from 1:30 to 4:30 p.m. on Sunday (Sept. 29.) On Saturday, Oct. 5, at 10:30 a.m. the Squamish Public Library will welcome Sheree Plett from Vancouver and this singer/songwriter will give a concert that will be enjoyable for all ages.
The next meeting for the Squamish Quilters' Guild will be held on Wednesday (Oct. 2) in the Sandman Hotel. The members gather at 9:30 a.m. to work on their own projects or to help sew a community quilt and socialize on a drop-in basis.
