EDITOR,
I am a climber, mountain biker, skier and travel enthusiast from Portland, Ore. In my adventures, I've been fortunate enough to visit some of your wonderful provincial parks in B.C. and Alberta. I have always admired the management of your parks - for their protection of our precious wilderness.
Naturally, I was concerned to hear of plans to build a tram through the heart of the park - so concerned that I am taking time out of my honeymoon to send you this letter. Please note my objection to this idea and consider other alternatives. Mountains and wilderness all over the world are scarce and worth protecting.
This proposed development is a bad idea, and sets a bad example. I have come to expect much better from B.C. Parks.
