I am happy to announce Susan Chapelle is ready to open the doors of Squamish Integrated Health, the first office to open in Squamish's spectacular, contemporary new office and medical building, The Cornerstone, on the corner of Cleveland and Victoria.
Squamish Integrated Health's approach to client service embodies its name and is truly integrated in every way: offering a full complement of professional health-care services, cross-disciplinary consultation and care, green and healthy building materials and décor, and community and social support and services. The clinic will also offer vision and hearing testing later this fall.
The innovative new clinic incorporates many green, ethical and health-friendly features. It was designed and built in compliance with an ethical purchasing policy and commitment to sourcing local materials and labour whenever possible. The clinic's professionals have also made a commitment to eco-friendly, paperless and secure administration and health-care charting. They are proud to have used local labour, local supplies and material whenever possible in building the clinic, which will be open seven days a week, including most days and evenings.
To celebrate its opening, Squamish Integrated Health has a grand opening and open house on Sunday (Oct. 21) from 6 to 8 p.m. Everyone is invited to drop in to visit the new space, enter to win free services, enjoy some delicious healthy treats and catch up with neighbours.
