Unfathomable dumping

I amwriting today to express my disgust with a specific minority of residents of this town who display an almost unimaginable lack of respect for the rest of this community and our environment.

I amwriting today to express my disgust with a specific minority of residents of this town who display an almost unimaginable lack of respect for the rest of this community and our environment.

I am referring to the Neanderthals that are willing to expend time and energy cleaning their residences and yards of unwanted tires, office furniture, mattresses, renovation debris and worse.

They transport it towards the Districts Municipal Landfill, but for an unfathomable and inexcusable reason, choose to dump it along the Cheekeye Fan Hydro transmission line right-of-way.

Unfathomable and inexcusable because the darn (insert much stronger word) landfill site is directly across the street, has hours of operation adequate for everyone else, costs a minimal amount or is free of charge during the annual free dump day!

What is wrong with this type of person?

What possible justification do these people create in their minds? This reprehensible behaviour has been going on for the 20 years I have lived here. It's been cleaned-up by either myself or other people or agencies. But witnessing the latest leavings today, and with the free dump day weekend coming up April 25 and 26, I feel compelled to write.

This area is much used by people in this community, visitors, kids, mountain-bikers, horse riders and hikers. And I hope that the responsible people using this area will keep their eyes open and call the RCMP if you witness anyone off-loading garbage in this or any other inappropriate area.

Fines up to $100,000 are available to the guilty party. To those, who have to be the laziest, most ignorant specimens of humanity I can imagine. Keep in mind I will be taking personal interest in catching, witnessing and forwarding evidence of your illegal dumping to the RCMP.

Or maybe I should just dump if back in your backyard along with some of my crap.

Personally, I believe a barricade has been required to block this road for the 20 years I have lived here.
