It's Olympics time, and that means it's time to celebrate and cheer on Canada's athletes as they participate in the 2010 Winter Olympic Games.

The West Coast Railway Heritage Park is one place to do this in Squamish, as we add a unique event running throughout the Olympics to our site.

Come and enjoy our Canada Club as we transform our historic PGE Carshop building into an Olympic party site for the community. Inside you will find a great atmosphere, with beverages -wine and beer as well as non-alcoholic - and snacks available for purchase.

Watch Olympic events and coverage (beamed in by satellite) on large screen monitors. Bring a group along and enjoy an Olympic party in this unique location and ambiance, and add a cheer for Canada!

The Canada Club is open daily from Feb. 11 to 28, from 2 p.m. to midnight each day. Please note that this is for ages 19 and older, and ID will be required. There is no cover charge, so come on out and get into the Olympic spirit.

While you are at the Heritage Park, you can see the progress on the amazing new CN Roundhouse & Conference Centre. We are tracking towards a spring 2010 grand opening for this incredible new community facility.

This location is attracting great interest with several events such as weddings and corporate events already being booked for later in 2010. It looks impressive now that the exterior is virtually complete, the lights are on, and final details are being installed.

We are open for families too. Bring the family over this month and enjoy our special Going for the Gold discounted admission rates for a day of Heritage Park fun. The mini rail will operate daily, weather permitting. The Heritage Park is open daily from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. all through February.

There are many more things to come after the Olympics are over, watch for more news on an exciting year for the Heritage Park in 2010.
