EDITOR,
I am wondering if you and your readers are aware of the great ambassadors
you have in your community of Squamish?
My daughter and son-in-law chose to be married at the Howe Sound Brewery on March 29. Lavera, Dana, Kristy and Ben were so helpful and accommodating. Between them and their awesome staff, our every need and request was
attended to cheerfully and efficiently!
The ladies at Garibaldi Graphics went out of their way to assist us with our old typewriter dilemma, which was very much appreciated. Billie’s Flower House gals gave us excellent service, as did Gem Jewellers. Ian and the gals at Devlin salon were very accommodating and gracious even thought we arrived late and it was a fun place to get beautified for the big event! Sea to Sky Couriers were so efficient; they arrived to pick up our freight almost before the phone was hung up!
The Groom was set on having the ring bearer and flower girl drive down the aisle in an electric kids’ vehicle and was very disappointed when we couldn’t manage to bring the kid’s own Jeep down so on an off chance that someone might be able to help, I placed an ad on Squamish Buy and Sell Facebook page and was pleasantly surprised when Jennifer Boyes answered and offered up her son’s Jeep for the occasion. It was the hit of wedding.
Linda Moore, the marriage commissioner, went out of her way to check on references for the venue for us and did a great job of the marriage ceremony itself!
So there you have it a string of great people who helped make a very important event a most memorable and rewarding experience. Thank you! We will be back!
