EDITOR,
In the editorial "A stunning result" (Chief, May 16), you admit that you were among the "...um, millions..." who wrote off the B.C. Liberals before the recent election. There were approximately 3.2 million citizens eligible to vote in this election, and about half of them, 1.6 million, voted. During these post-election days of reflection, it appears it was mainly the pollsters, pundits, and the media in general who wrote off the B.C. Liberals, amounting to a few hundred or thousand at best. The "millions" of voters obviously did not. After redoing the arithmetic, I hope the crow tastes even better!
