Re. Events in Egypt.
Events in Egypt have the potential to change the world.
For far too long these people have lived a suppressed life and realize the power of the people, their want and needs are simple.
We want the keys back,
We want knowledge,
We want a future,
All revolutions start with the people:
Think Russian, French, American and now the Egyptian.
What we are seeing is not people in the Square but Egyptians.
for far too long people in the Middle East have lived under the premise of the soft bigotry of low expectations, the new world had passed them by - it is now their turn,
The implications of this are profound, if done in a democratic way. It will take time, mistakes will be made. But it will change our world for the better. I believe this will change the whole Middle East,
As Thomas Friedman of the New York Times noted in an interview with a young Egyptian man, his needs were also simple
This is my Place,
This is my Earth,
This is my Home,
I want it back,
