One of Squamish’s marinas has come up for sale.
On the north end of the Mamquam Blind Channel, this marina can be seen from the bridge over the channel on Highway 99.
The listing says it was built in 1945 and can garner income from about 47 docked boats. The land is approximately 20,000 square feet which is currently being used for parking, a dry dock, storage and a work yard.
It also comes with two residential buildings that are approximately 3,400 square feet total in size, which are said to be zoned in I-1 light industrial and marine mixed-use.
“Rare opportunity to own and operate a marina in downtown Squamish,” reads the listing.
Taxes for 2023 were calculated at just over $23,000. The property also comes with two water lots with crown leases, docks, ramps, gates and pilings.
The 2023 BC assessment valued the entire property at about $3.645 million. That is nearly a $500,000 increase from the 2022 BC assessment, which was valued at about $3.161 million for the whole property.
This property was listed for sale on numerous commercial real estate websites.
It had been o Realtor.ca for just over two weeks on March 11.
