Two new industrial buildings will be going up at Mid Way in the industrial park.

Council voted unanimously in favour of granting a development permit for 38924 Mid Way to Lucina Enterprises Ltd. on Feb. 18.

The buildings will cover 2,864 square metres — or 28,890 square feet — in floor area. Both will be single storey with mezzanine space.

Lucina was seeking several variances related to fencing on accessory building distances, retaining walls, and landscaping.

Currently, the location is a vacant 1.2-acre lot that's already been cleared.

Previously, the property was used for timber frame and log home manufacturing.
