Riders from Squamish, Coquitlam and Fernie take the top spots

Athletes from far and wide flocked to Squamish to participate in the Sp'awk'us races this weekend.

This year's Sp'akw'us bike race has seen the ascent of athletes from Squamish, Coquitlam and Fernie.

With hundreds of riders participating, the annual event has been a flagship Squamish race since the Test of Metal stopped its operations.

The top times are: 

 

Men’s overall 50KM Day 1

Eric Goodwin — Squamish — 2:22:10

Cory Wallace — Jasper — 2:26:47

Patrick McNeely — Brackendale — 2:26:54

 

Women’s overall 50 KM

Sandra Walter — Coquitlam — 2:33:38

Sonya Looney — Kelowna — 2:41:55

Elissa Lok — Garibaldi Highlands — 2:46:13       

 

Men’s overall Day 35 KM
