Bruce Neighbor passed away on Oct. 12, 2022, after a difficult and courageous battle with Progressive Supranuclear Palsy.

Bruce was born in 1950 to his wonderful parents, Tag and Moneta Neighbor.

When Bruce was in high school, the Neighbor family moved to Squamish.

In 1991, Bruce married Lois Sokolan, forming a blended family and a loving partnership throughout their 30 years together.

Bruce and Lois were incredible companions.

Bruce was one of the kindest souls on this planet — he was a gentle, giving man who faced every challenge in life with admirable strength and courage.

He worked tirelessly to ensure that his family had everything they needed and was the most dedicated son, husband, father, stepdad and grandpa that a family could ever be so lucky to have.

Bruce was predeceased by many beloved family members, including, most recently, his wife, Lois.

Bruce is survived by his daughter Kristine, son Kelly, step-son Chris, step-daughter Kate (Jonathan), grandchildren Desiree, Jacob, Maria, Alexa and Megan, his dog Luna, his brother Ted (Carolyn), his nephews, nieces by marriage, and many cousins.

He is deeply missed by all who knew him.

A celebration of life will be held on Dec. 3, 2022, at 1 p.m. at Squamish Funeral Chapel.
