How is this for a job well done?

Grade 8 students from École Les Aiglons Squamish were at the Farmer's Market on Saturday, raffling off the catio they built as part of their project about protecting birds in the Sea to Sky.

They raised close to $200, which will be put toward their next project, building ground bee nests.

The winner of the raffle was Taro, who was celebrating his first birthday.

“He is already enjoying his new catio," said teacher Carrie Antoniazzi, in an email to The Squamish Chief.

"Congratulations to his humans Yin Xzi and Jake and thank you to Tiffany Brunke for all her help and support of our projects," she added.
