Over her life, Bev lived in several communities around B.C., including Kamloops, Victoria and Qualicum Beach, but Squamish was home. 

Private family service will be held at a later date. 

Lisa was well known in downtown Squamish, working various jobs from Merv Foote’s Menswear to Highland Glass, GBA Logging, Sea To Sky Heli Rigging, and finally as an office manager at GSK Chartered Accountants.

Squamish has been experiencing a bitter cold snap in the last few days, but it should warm some in the coming days.

Most recently, he was known as the Squamish Santa and a stalwart volunteer at The Hotspot in Squamish. 

He worked as a pharmacist and business owner in Kamloops, Lillooet, and Squamish, where he operated Stathers Drugs, Stathers Home and Building Centre, and Lillooet IDA Pharmacy until his retirement at age 79.

On Jan. 7, over 60 volunteers counted 996 eagles in Squamish, Brackendale, Paradise and Squamish Valley.
