The young people in the musical comedy Little Shop of Horrors have worked many long hours to perfect their parts and have been ably supported by the entire crew. It wasn't until I was home for an hour or so after being at a fast food outlet in Squamish last Sunday afternoon, that I realized a small change purse had been lifted from my purse. The little plaid purse had been sent to me by my sister in law in Edinburgh, Scotland several years ago and it meant much to me. I was very surprised Wednesday to hear the purse had been found with the money still in it but my bank card missing. For others, please be vigilant where you put your purse or wallet!

In last week's column I mentioned that Knack to Knit had moved from the Squamish Public Library to Gelato Carina. In fact, Susan Bruvall, who used to work at the library and run the Knack to Knit there has retired and has moved over to the Wool Studio Carina on Cleveland Avenue, where Knack to Knit has been regularly offered for three Sundays a month on a continuing basis.

Lessons for beginners are Thursday nights from 7 to 9 p.m. (no charge for teaching) and Sunday afternoons are meant as an afternoon of exchanging ideas, tips, techniques and doing projects for those that already knit and crochet. Sorry for the confusion!
