A search is on going for an Australian diver who failed to surface in the waters off of Britannia Beach on Saturday, Squamish RCMP confirmed Monday. The man had become separated from his diving partner. The Coast Guard and the RCMP Underwater Recovery Team searched at length and failed to locate him, according to Staff Sgt. Brian Cumming of the Squamish detachment.
Police have not released the name of the diver.
