Drivers in need of a pitstop for their electric vehicle can find a new one at Garibaldi Village.

Electrify Canada announced in a press release on March 16 that it has constructed a new ultra-fast charging station at 40270 Glenalder Place.

The station hosts four public chargers, compatible with most EV models, that offer the fastest charging speeds available today.

This marks the sixth station from Electrify Canada to open up in B.C., though it is just one of a number of chargers from various organizations present in Squamish.

Currently, the company has 20 stations open, and it intends to have a total of 32 this year, for a total of 128 fast chargers.

More stations are expected for B.C., Ont. and Que.
