Assault charge, car theft, stolen truck and break and enter

Assault charge
A woman was arrested and later released on a promise to appear in court for a charge of assault. An incident took place on Monday, Sept. 14 at a home in the 40600 block of Perth Drive, RCMP reported.

Bat and knife attack
A victim sustained minor injuries and a suspect was arrested on several charges after a man attacked another man with a baseball bat and a knife in his trailer at a property on Paradise Valley Road on Saturday, Sept. 19, police said. 

Crash near Lions Bay
Three people were transported to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries after a crash on Highway 99 just north of Brunswick Beach Road near Lions Bay on Friday, Sept. 18, police said. A southbound vehicle crossed the centre line and struck a northbound vehicle head-on, Squamish RCMP said.
  Speed and poor weather conditions were believed to be factors in the collision, according to police. The highway was closed for approximately one hour. 

Theft from vehicles
Police received four separate reports of thefts from vehicles, three at Shannon Falls parking lot and one involving several vehicles at Daisy Lake, on Sunday, Sept. 20. The investigation is ongoing, according to Squamish RCMP.

 Stolen truck crash
A Hino truck was stolen from the 41700 block of Cottonwood Road during the night of Sunday, Sept. 20, police said. The truck was later found abandoned in the area of Depot Road and Faith Road, according to police.
  The same truck is believed to have been involved in a crash with three parked cars on Judd Road prior to being dumped, police said. 
  There were no witnesses to the theft or the abandoning of the vehicle. A forensic examination is underway. 

 B&E at auto shop
A suspect was seen crawling under the fence at an auto repair shop in the 1000 block of Industrial Way overnight on Monday, Sept. 14, police report. 
  The suspect was seen on surveillance video attempting unsuccessfully to enter vehicles in the compound, police said.  Nothing was stolen but the investigation continues in order to identify the suspect, according to Squamish RCMP.

Theft from vehicle
A vehicle parked in the 40900 block of Tantalus Road was broken into and electronics and other personal items were stolen on Monday, Sept. 14, police said.
