Antique stealers

Police say thieves entered a house on the 1500-block of Eagle Drive and stole antique jewelry, a pocket watch, silverware and an antique opal ring.
RCMP say the incident occurred between 10:45 a.m. and 12 p.m. on Sept. 17.

Officers are still investigating.

Stealing from vehicles

RCMP say thieves smashed windows and stole items from vehicles parked at the Garibaldi trailhead lot.

Police say thieves were after money during the incident, which occurred on Sept. 14.

Officers are urging victims to contact police if they haven’t already done so.

Vehicle collision

A motorcyclist collided with the driver of a pickup truck after the driver crossed lanes to turn on Sept. 19, police say.

BC Ambulance took the motorcyclist to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries, say officers. Both the pickup truck and motorcycle required towing, and police issued the driver of the pickup a violation ticket for improper left turn.

Traffic stops

Police issued four tickets to people who failed to obey traffic signs in a one-way lane at a

construction zone on Industrial Ave. at Highway 99 on Sept. 17.
