For the past several years, Test of Metal organizers have operated a shuttle bus service to help spectators access key parts of the course while minimizing the traffic and parking issues that might arise if all tried to get there by private vehicle.

The Fun Bobbys from Vancouver won the D Division of the Squamish Slo-Pitch Association's May long weekend tournament. Because of a reporting error, incorrect information about the division winner appeared in the May 27 edition of The Chief.
